It was filmed in and around Sylva NC. Been through there a few times going in and out of the Smokey Mountain National park and near the Blue Ridge Parkway.
That town and the next one down called Waynesville have quite a few good bew pubs. They make up for the folks who leave the National park and not want to drive all the way to Asheville.
