Awkward moment at the grocery store earlier. I saw the wife of a friend of a friend. We used to be friendly too but her husband and my friend had a falling out so I was unsure if we were going to stop and chat or ignore each other. She decided by saying hi and walking right past me so most awkwardness was avoided.
Then I circled back and slipped a Monistat 7 variety pack into her cart.

I have a niece who is currently pregnant with twins in the Phoenix area. If she doesn't go into labor soon, she will be induced which I'm sure she is looking forward to in the blazing desert heat.
It’s a dry heat. Kinda like an oven.

the closest i ever came to that kind of heat was in san antonio when i went to my son,s usaf graduation.how do you put up with that heat?
I am in Atlanta right now and it is only 90 but with the humidity feels like it is 100 out right now.
Our friends neighborhood pool here has no one at it. So I asked why and he said it was too hot even for that.

Its brutal here too. Only 87 but supposed to feel 98. I have been through much much worse by the numbers, but for some reason it feels terrible to me today.

You stay inside and pray to God your AC doesn't go out?

Being back there in June made me realize how soft the lack of humidity out here made me. I just can't handle the humidity there like I used to. And I go back at the end of July!

January and February in Buffalo - do what you need to do and get back inside, hoping the heat doesn’t fail.

Vegas in July and August- do what you need to do and get back inside, hoping the A/C doesn’t fail.

His guitar looks like a Cordoba electric classical guitar. I have one but I'm not anywhere near his level of playing.

My inlaws are outside of Houston and for a few months in winter the temperature might top in the low 60s. They think that's freezing.

I've spent most of my year in SE Asia for work. I thought I knew humidity from Charlotte and a few unfortunate visits to Houston.

Holy shit I was completely unprepared. I've never showered so much and done so much laundry in my life.
