Geddy Lee's vocals don't help either.
Steve Vai is another example of that. Phenomenal technical musician.
90% of his songs, I never need to hear again.

Considering some of the musical acts that are in the Hall of Fame it's long overdue. The only thing I can think of that's keeping them out is maybe people in the industry consider them sell outs. Kiss was all about the money. From action figures to lunch boxes they sold everything.
I still remember as a little kid seeing a commercial for a Kiss concert at the San Diego Sports Arena. In the commercial they showed Gene Simmons tongue with the blood & everything. I can honestly say as a 3 year old he scared the crap out of me.
