ARLINGTON -- Game 2 of the American League Championship Series between the Rangers and Tigers was postponed on Sunday afternoon in advance of the 6:45 p.m. CT scheduled start time at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.

Rangers grounds crew chief Dennis Klein, citing a 90 percent chance of rain this evening, said the game would be rescheduled to a 3:19 p.m. CT first pitch on Monday afternoon.

Klein also said the weather was looking "beautiful" for Monday.

I can't decide who I want to see in the WS. On 1 hand, seeing the Brewers and Rangers play would guarantee a 1st time winner. On the other hand, a Cardinals-Tigers series would be 2 great, long time teams

Delmon Young (oblique) is back in the Tigers' starting lineup for ALCS Game 2 Monday against the Rangers.


Young was initially left off the Tigers' second-round roster because of an oblique strain that he suffered in Game 5 of the ALDS against the Yankees. But he's going to play through the pain, or at least try to, and see where it leaves him. Young is batting third and manning left field Monday.

I would love to give a big thanks to MLB for rescheduling today's makeup game WHILE I'LL STILL BE AT WORK!!!

It's sad that Mags is out. It sucks that is how he will finish his Tiger career. He should've went out on a high note.
