OT: Baby Names

[JustAsking]

Wife and I are expecting our first in August... thinking of names...

Mario (jokingly, I guess)
Muir (as in John Muir, the one I want!)
Lincoln (easy Abe Lincoln)
Julius (not after anyone, just like it)
Richter (yes, after Mike Richter, wife is a Rags fan.. I can't have Mario, she can't have richter)
Jacob Jones (my paps WWII navy ship).
James Lado (James my father middle name, Lado {short for vladomir} her fathers first name)

Only one girl name floating around right now:

Mazzy

What do you folks think? Like any of them... have any suggestion?

That's one I really like as well... my cousin named her boy Jacob however (religious reason), he goes by Jake... that's the only draw back I see... I like the name and my pap would be honored... I guess we could call him Jacob or Jones....

Congrats to you and your wife king. Some names I like are Stephen, Tyler, Brian, Lee and Dalton for boys and Heather, Kendra, Michelle and Amy for girls. There are a few other's I can't think of at the moment.

Kids are great and good luck my friend.

For girls, I've always liked Samantha, I knew a girl named Misty, one named Randilyn, maybe Zoey? For boys, how about Ryan, Brandon, Tyler?

But in all seriousness, I've already got my 'favorite name list'...for the future. Not that I'd tell any gentlemen that. For boys: James (I already called that from my brother...silly boy was gonna steal it), Patrick, Ronald (Grandpa's name), Charlie; girls: Elizabeth (fan of the name Lizzie for some reason...dunno), Julie, etc. Nothing out of this world. Charlie may be one of my favorite names though.
