They were assertions, and I wholly believe some of them to be true.

The responses that I have gotten have quelled some of these but certainly not all.

Things needed said, and they were. Now, let's wait until we can have an open discussion when the season is over.

I think the current mods are great, though I completely understand someone not wanting to do it anymore.
Apparently stopping someone from being an asshole is 'kiddie pool' stuff but being an asshole, complaining about things repeatedly both here and on other boards, and mocking the mods for the job they do is big boy stuff. Now I know.

It felt more like an accusation to me, as it wasn't describing my actions at all. Based on the evidence that only one "mod intervention" or banning has occurred in months, and the admittedly erroneous locking of a thread quickly rectified, it appears to be a baseless assertion.

Here is my 2 cents on the whole thing. If you can't control yourself and then become that enraged because your team had a 2-0 lead and blew it (all the while the game was still tied) and resort to calling women c**** for posting in the thread, then maybe you take yourself, your team and message boards a little too seriously.

I'm not reading through a 10 page thread for an answer that you can easily give me. Looking over the first page there is only one poster who I have seen post on this NHL general board complain about it. Everyone else just asked what was going on or weren't posters on this board.

As mentioned earlier, this board is ran differently from others on this site. If that were not the case many people here wouldn't have come over. If people don't like it they can go troll their team board or any of the other boards where it is accepted. They have plenty of outlets so they don't have to act like a complete asshat here.

There is 0 transparency in the board business.

There is 0 consistency in how punishments are doled out, or what is punishable or what leads to a thread lock.

The mods wig out at the slightest murmr and assume us all to be children that need a parent.
