The idiots are the ones who went to authorities to begin with (or Ryan's mom who went to authorities...isn't that what happened?). Their story had holes, the police probably had an assault report from the guy at the gas station, they've probably had this evidence for a few days (thus the judge's order for them to remain in Brazil) and now it's public.

Just because there's a lot of crime in the city (although their crime rates are very comparable to places like Baltimore, Detroit and Cleveland in reality) doesn't mean the police can't connect some easy dots.

I think Eaton has the gold medal wrapped up in the decathlon, he's better at the last three events that Warner (pole vault, javelin throw, and 1500m). In fact, Warner might be in tough to hold onto the silver as the French dude is looking strong. You never know, though, anything can happen.
