Yeah, can someone with high-jump experience comment on that? What's the pro/con of passing to a higher height? I mean, could I have entered the Olympics until the final height and then just said "Booyeah, gold!" If so, these competitors really need to rethink their strategy.

My father in law might be pulling it out of his ass (lol) but he said the if the uke made that height it would have been on his 3rd attempt ... Because drouin cleared it on his first attempt ... Drouin would have won gold
