Interesting as to what it is says about the state of his relationship with Dallas. Obviously, something was not right in terms of his relationship with Romo, the coaches or Jones. When back up in Buffalo is preferable to back up in Dallas...Houston we have a problem. And don't think this was about chance to start, as we have a QB coming off two back surgeries who has missed time in many seasons.

I worried all preseason about Romos back. Hell, maybe they realize something I dont want to admit- that it doesnt matter who we have back there?????? I just think if they were really concerned we would have had another guy in challenging Weeden , whether it was Orton or someone else. I mean one shot can end any QBs season, dont get me wrong there. Maybe Romo's particular shot chances increase a little but not enough to be concerned.

Good move by Orton lol, showing that Purdue education. He worked the system to his benefit regardless of whether he wanted to play or not.

I think it is 100% about chance to start. He got the chance week 17 and did better than a lot of starting QBs would have. He knows he is better than EJ.

Maybe he should have tried going to the rams. If Hill struggles he might have found himself starting for a decent team. Unless he is just looking for a few more paychecks & starting isn't a desire.

Isnt EJ their young QB they drafted as their future?
I don't think the bills would give up on that guy to quickly. I think Orton on the bills is for injury insurance.
If EJ is healthy all season I believe he starts the whole season even if he struggles.

He showed last year he wasn't ready to be a starter. Sitting him down isn't the same as giving up on him. Any way, they still want him to be their QB and just want a little insurance. My post was from Orton's point of view.

Yes and so does every NFL fan except apparently you. Where is Tebow now? Even your small brain can't possibly think Tebow is better than Orton...well, I take that back...

I don't know. Could you have given a more douche bag response?
You don't like his talent so he should be crippled?

From Rotoworld:

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports new Bills QB Kyle Orton will make $5 million this season.
As ex-Rotoworlder Chris Wesseling points out, that's as much as Josh McCown is making for the Bucs. The Bills have clearly lost faith in E.J. Manuel, and appear ready to turn to Orton at a moment's notice. Manuel will keep his job to begin the season as Orton gets up to speed on the playbook, but has no room for error. With the Bills hoping to field one of the league's run-heaviest offenses, Orton will be a bottom-barrel QB2 if/when he gets the call to replace Manuel.

Hey, how is Evans doing, you know the Vikings starter for the past 7 years? What has he started, about 100 games? Or 6? This is why you bring nothing but weak responses. You jump on a obvious typo and make statements like that...the only thing you are good at is stirring the pot, because you sure don't know football unless you have been hiding it in your posts on this board...

It could be about the chance to start, as in Orton wants none. He wants to get paid to do nothing, and in Dallas he is one sneeze from having to play. :)
