the entire team signed a petition and went to the AD for Cristobal to be HC. quite a few of the recruits and their parents were also pushing for it.

Let me start off this thread with saying Oregon needs to fly to Los Angeles and meet with Chip. Seriously. Write whatever check needs to be written to UCLA for Chip's buyout and give Chip a blank check to let him fill in himself.

... and they end up promoting the guy with a seriously bad record as HC instead of getting one of those flashy names you think still would be interested in coaching there.

But lets be real. Chip is priority and candidate #1,2, and 3.
