Hey, I didn't like saying that. I figured we'd roll all over Miami of Ohio but they were driving to tie the game when we got a crucial turnover. I am hoping we are just struggling only because it's the first game after losing Ibrahim and that we'll improve down the line, but who knows? Sucks to have to rip on my own team, but Miami of Ohio? Ouch.
Nah..you were right even if you had a semi-easy 2 TD win. If the BIG has an offensive juggernaut this year OSU for sure could struggle.

No it isn't. What games have you watched ? College Kickers are 66% on kicks over 45. Again I assume 1 of the 2 miss.

I watch college games all the time. These kickers are brutal outside of the few that go pro.

Iowa is looking pretty solid. Maybe Indiana and Iowa St were overrated? But I could see Iowa ranking better than tOSU come Monday

Im surprised Iowa State did so little today. Matt Campbell gets talked about like he’s the next Belichick.

Just sitting down and turning on the TV. Good game to the Ducks. Sounded like it was an exciting 4th quarter Heart breaker! On the bright side, lots of football left in the season!

I'm hesitant to call it a heartbreaker when I don't think Ohio State ever led.

tOSU had some chances to drive the field and score to tie the game (just watched the rest of it.) Knowing the caliber of talent we had, not being able to finish off a drive was heart breaking. Lessons to learn.

You should look at stats more often. College Kickers are pretty good. They become inconsistent when kicks are over 50 yards which the few that are consistent in that range make the NFL. In the 40 to 49 range most kickers are 50% or better and some exceptional. I even said we can call the 2 40+ kicks 1/2 in this thread and the 23 yard attempt a make and the game is still tied at the end with 1 2 point conversion. Glad I could educate you in Football.

Ohio State was great at moving the ball down the field but when it gets closer to red zone, you have to able to run the ball. Oregon also played a very good game. Didn't turn the ball over, didn't leave any points on the field.

wouldn't call it a heartbreaker either. Not leading not the reason why, though, IMO. Had we gotten further on our last 2 drives and lost, say, like they did to Clemson in CFP a couple years ago that might qualify.

Not on that level, of course, as season wouldn't end after the game.

Those missed 4th and 2s might have been the difference....and props to Oregon for stopping them.
