you know wikipedia is now being accepted for college papers work cited pages?
Did you actually read what wiki said?
Loudest "per person" that's what Lee Corso said, also Keith Jackson once said it was the "loudest per square foot".
The loudest recorded was 127.2 decibels at Autzen & I don't know about The Swamp or Death Valley, but Nebraska registered at 135 decibels in 1992 (according to ESPN).
The Washington Huskies also claim to hold the record from a game in 1991, but I couldn't find their db claim.
They're all just claims, I'm sticking with LSU until somewhere else sends the geology dept. into a scramble.
I'd like to know how many stadiums are as close to a seismograph as Death Valley.
I heard it gets pretty loud at Troy.
hey CK are you also known as The Chess King by any chance?

I've been to games at Death Valley and they are the loudest I've ever been to.
Washington is a good one. I don't know if it's they way the stadium is built or what, but the tv camera's shake during those games.
its being torn down after this year and building an entirely new stadium.
So was it the stadium design or the crowd rockin' the place?
