Yea. With a baseball season it's almost better to get knocked out and wake up on June 1. Realistically you should have some what of an idea by then. This team fell on its face the first three weeks last year after dominating the opening series. In 12 hours you will probably forget about last night.

only a little concerned for seager. there's no way he can't be thinking of his horrific start last year.

I think he had consistently been bad in April. But yeah I'm not worried about him. Also I think he is now 3-33 off Wilson in his career. Might not be a bad idea to give him one of his few days off when they face him again.

i'm sure he'll be fine, too, but he's only human. "not again" has to be floating around there somewhere, though he's professional enough to get past it in a hurry.

i'll never forget the look on his face when he FINALLY hit a home run 18 games in last year. it was rough up until then, though. wasn't until a couple days later that he even broke .200 BA.

That was a rough night. But Wilson was dialed. It seemed like he went strike 1 strike 2 all night, and the little EQC tracker showed that strike 1 and 2 were painted either on the outside or bottom of the zone.

One thing I noticed was we were more aggressive, seemed like a lot of early swings, which is interesting just cause of the talk in the spring about last years playoff records of the most aggresive vs the most patient teams at the dish (the patient teams didn't make th eplayoff)

There's no denying that Wilson was dealing last night... We have to give credit where credit is due and he made the M's hitter looked bad all night. However, we do have bench and sometimes you have to analyze all the situations that gives you the best chance at winning. I believe LMC took that away when he decided not to use his bench last night late in the game and particularly in the 9th. I just don't agree with keeping Weeks in to start the 9th.

Oh well... let's hope it's not a bad managerial trend.

Funny thing about baseball.... even if this team makes HISTORY they will fail 45 times..... if they have a GREAT year and win 100 games which hasnt been done in years they will fail 62 times....... Even looking at the players... you are considered an all star these days if you fail JUST 7 times in every 10 abs....... SOOOOO people who are freaking out, settle down. This is baseball.

Not sure I like these unis.

Angels having a good ol' time beating the shit out of Iwakuma in the 1st.

2 runs, 4 consecutive hits, 1 out.

.....update. cano with a hideous error, 2 more runs score. 2 outs.

wow.

Should've been a DP to get out of the inning with 2 runs given up.

Dreadful for Cano.

Thank goodness Jackson's contract is up this year. Would be nice to see a new centerfielder this July.

Cy Shoemaker needed 9 pitches to induce 2 K's and a line out.

Alright Miller.... least the #9 in our order gets something going. Meanwhile our 3 'best' hitters Cruz/Cano/Seager have done jack crap so far this season (granted only 2 1/3 games in but still).

WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU STEALING THERE? You need multiple base runners and a big 2-3 run inning... you're not 1 run behind. I just don't get Seattle's playcalling.

Wow, is Kuma really just throwing like crap? That is one of my predictions that I really didn't want to happen, but they really do need a long reliever in the bullpen.

Wow if Angels pitching is this good or our bats are this bad, Angels are running away with this division.
