A combination of both. Georgia would probably be favored over Oklahoma and Notre Dame, but at the same time, there's no real way to justify us getting in over them. To be the best, you've gotta beat the best, and we didn't, better luck next year, and lets roll Texas in the Sugar Bowl.
Put Bevo on the grill and let Uga go to town.

FNG here. Will say that Murray is the type of qb that Bama has had problems with in the past. That said, Bama's defense is a problem that he hasn't had to face either. Looking forward to it. RTR!!!

If Alabama wins they will face 2 Top 5 Offenses in back to back weeks most likely. It won't be easy.

Murray will put up points but that defense is BAD. Tua will score at will.

Nobody gave OU a chance against them in the Sugar Bowl either.
Sooner Magic :hope:

Baker Mayfield and 10 others is a good team. IMO, one of the best College QB's ever.

I was referring to Trevor Knight in 2014 when OU was 15 point dogs against Bama and won by 14.
Last year Georgia #1 defense was to too good for OU and they hung 48 on them. I just get tired of the SEC defense narrative

Alabama, IMO, will control the game with a run attack that eats a little clock so the defense can stay rested. Also, Sabin is the best at preparing his teams for a bowl game. I look for a very speedy player to be spying on the Oklahoma QB. Take away that guys run game; keep him in the pocket and make him throw over the very big and fast defensive line. IMO, Alabama wins this one big and will come away with some tired but NOT beat up players. Playing Georgia and then Clemson would have been a very big task.

IMO, TUA was a bit banged up starting yesterday's game which really caused a problem with his accuracy and running. He will be much fitter in a month.

as a bama fan, i think 14 points is crazy! for me, more like 4. that offense of ou is devastating to a more power built defense. now, can tua and the bama offense match ou, maybe, if tua is healthy. this may very well be jalen hurts.

At this point, nobody expects us to win. I’m just going to be happy for the publicity and be pleasantly surprised if we pull a rabbit out of a hat.
we have history on our side, IF history repeats itself.

The last 2 NC winning head coaches at OU won the NC in their second year.
Barry Switzer - HC in 73, won NC in 74
Bob Stoops - HC in 1999, won NC in 2000
Lincoln Riley - HC in 2017, 2018????

If AL looses again to OU with that talent. It would be a travesty.

But history does repeat itself from time to time.

We will take the underdog in this one.
I bet saben will loose his shit again before it’s over.

That was some game and your right; Knight was one great QB on that day. He dropped several passes into the receiver's outstretched hands that were so well placed no defense could stop that. On the other side; A. J. McCarran threw a couple of picks and fumbled on his own 15 yard line. I was never a fan of McCarran. OU was definitely the better team that day. I also liked Coach StoopsTAM vs Oklahoma Jan, 2013 when Manziel passed and ran to a big win. 1st thing Stoops did was to congratulate Manziel on a terrific performance. Class act.

That is not this Alabama team. Alabama is going to try to score 60. Saban IMO is smart enough to know that he can't just hope to run and keep it away from OU after watching the OU/UGA game a year ago. Alabama is going to have to use their full Offense to win the game. OU will score over 30.

I like to think Alabama can't beat us any worse than the last two ass kickings Clemson gave us.

Until Bama proves they can beat OU, my money will be on OU. At least this time, we won't have Shula as a coach and the team will want to be there.
