If I had the talent of Felix, I would of left this team long ago. He knows the FO is incompetent to say the least.
It blows my mind that he actually wants to be a Mariner and likes it here. No one would blame him if he got extremely frustrated but he always takes the high road. I understand money talks but you would think the losing and lack of support wold get to you at some point. If I had the talent of Felix, I would of left this team long ago. 25+ starts with 7+ innings pitched giving up 0 runs, all resulting in ND or L
2 of which have been in his last 2 starts.
This is the Mariners, no matter how much people believe in magic.
At some point, even the most "rah rah we're over .500 for a few games here and there" sycophants have to face the reality that this team is irrelevant to MLB. They are monumentally bad.
5 Felix Hernandez's on the mound can't make up for the following:
Dead last in OPS in the AL
Dead last in OBP
Dead last in AVG
Not true last two starts for wainwright were 1-0 wins. So it happened to the opposing pitcher.
yeah but wainwright has had some good offenses over the years and has rings to show for his hard work. We think its terrible that a great pitcher like felix with like 7 years in the league has never pitched in the postseason what a waste
I agree over the course of his career wainwright has had a lot better team around him. I was just pointing out those two circumstances where a similar thing has happened. Though recently it seems pitching is making a comeback

pitching is taking over ever sense they started cracking down on performance enhancers were starting to see baseballs true form which is pitching is more dominate than hitting those days of sammy sosa, rafael palmeiro, barry bonds, alex rodriguez and mark mcgwire hitting 40,50,60 homers in a season are over. now if you hit 30 homers your considered a power hitter
Felix Hernandez over his last three starts:
June 8: 7 IP 4 hits 0 ER 15 Ks ND: 0 runs of run support
June 13: 8.1 IP 4 hits 1 ER 6 Ks L: 0 runs of run support
June 18: 7 IP 3 hits 1 ER 10 Ks ND: 1 run of run support
Total: 22.1 IP 11 hits 2 ER 31 Ks 1 run of run support
It really is unbelievable and frustrating
