Typical ending fashion to the game and season... Our best player gets hurt running to 1B. We get swept with a walk off HR by the Rays who get a 2 run score off a bleeder into the OF that has our two players running into each other. This team ended up a complete mess!!! Unbelievable happenings!!!

Wow...don't even care about the game, just hoping it isn't an ACL tear. But after seeing the GIF a few times, I'd say a tear is almost a sure thing...

From bad to worse. I'll be surprised if he didn't tear his ACL.....unless he's Adrian Peterson, that's 1 year of recovery and rehab. There is a possibility we won't see Manny next year at all. Valencia may be our starting 3b next year and another spot just opened for Schoop.

The O's have now lost six in a row. That is one more than they won in a row the entire season. Do not count on Davis having a season next year like he did this year. In fact, I'll bet next season looks more like the second half of this season.

Jones with his typical 100 RBI's and 30 HR. He could be a great hitter if he could learn better patience at the plate and situational hitting.

Wieters is a .230 hitter. His defense does not compensate for the fact he can't hit. Though as stated before his 75 RBI's and power stats aren't too bad.

Markakis just faded away after the ASG. Just didn't show up.

I think they need an offensive spark at second. Someone to help fill that gaping hole in the batting order.

Lastly, the Orioles approach to hitting is the long ball. It has proven itself not successful. They do not string hit together in an inning, and they fail to advance runners all too often. It doesn't matter what your pitching staff does, if you can't plate runs.

The Orioles need to look at shopping some players while they still have some trade value and reloading the starting lineup.

Great defense for the season, but that obviously does not overcome a lack of consistent hitting and run scoring.
