I love onions, any way. Raw or cooked. I like red ones, white ones, yellow ones, even the little pearl onions. I like the ones about an inch across, too. I like onion rings and onion strings. I like the big onion rings, too. I will eat them on a boat! I will eat them with a goat!

They help with your cholesterol, I think, but not the battered ones that are deep fried.

Huh? This makes zero sense.
Dice an onion bottom to top, remove the skin as you throw it onto the pan. The pan and the oil needs to be sizzling, it catches the flavonols. It's hardly a sign of a good or bad cook however.
