I didn’t like them as a kid until we read the book Holes in the 4th grade. I enjoy onions, especially when battered and fried as onion rings.

Cooking has become quite a passion for me .. Onions are incredible ( just don;t let your dog have them, they can be deadly )

I have come up with my own alfredo pasta .. Penne or fusilli is usually my choice, with chicken and broccoli .. One time, I added some diced tomatoes, and it was very complementary ..

The last time I prepared my chicken and penne alfredo, I did something I had never seen done before - I added some whisks of the purple skin onions, and it took the dish from a 10 to a 12 in a scale of 10 ..

Onions with burgers, onions with salads, onions in beef brisket ( a must ) and onions in soup

Food without onions is like the highway without Pacers !!

I'm a big fan of vinegar but lemon juice hits the same note and adds to the complexity of the flavor. I like to use it with pasta. Might want to try it if you haven't.
