Wasn't just two weeks ago it was reported as a dislocated elbow? Now wrist surgery?

I always wondered why they referred to a pitcher and catcher as a "battery" - Now it makes sense.

Wasn't it the left elbow that was dislocated? This was the right wrist and apparently unrelated.

Crow is likely positioning himself for the team that wins the 2015 draft lottery (aka McDavid sweepstakes).

Since the division round was expanded to best of 7 (1986-1987) there only has been one Cup winner that had to play at least 6 or 7 games in each series (prior to the Finals) which was Detroit in 1998 (all three series went 6). NOTE: they ended up sweeping the finals and didn't have a 7 game series.

So ever since they started the best of 7 in all rounds every single winner has had a short series (4 or 5 games).

Going with that logic right now Boston or Montreal have the best chance of winning.

YES it will change after the next two rounds but it is interesting that a short series truly helps the winner with rest and healing.
