So I guess somebody threw an Oilers jersey on the ice at tonight's Sharks - Flames game in Calgary. That's gold, Jerry, gold.

I wonder if any player threw it back into the crowd

Don't know the player Johnny, haven't see a great shot of it. By the way, Flames are going to OT with the Sharks tonight mainly due to Ramo playing a whale of a game.

Sharks clinched a playoff spot with the loser point. That makes 17 playoff appearances in the teams brief history and this is the 10th consecutive playoff birth.

After a few horrible seasons, this franchise has done a good job putting together a competitive team and giving the fans a quality on ice product.

Congrats Slim - As far as the West is concerned, I'm jumping on the Sharks bandwagon for the playoffs.

/Oh, and Flames were lucky to win tonight. Was that Ramo or Kipper between the pipes?

Thanks, Ramo looked good. The Flames are a scrappy team, they have good speed and looked to transition a lot tonight. It kept the Sharks on their toes.

I think that was the first successful shootout attempt against Stalock. He had gone through three previous shootouts and had stonewalled all nine shooters.

His knee looked locked from the overhead replay they showed :noidea:

Yeah I'm thinking either it's something to do with the knee or a high ankle sprain - anything that would be considered long term(rest of regular season at least)

We booed him? I was in attendance, not many did and if they did, it's casual moronic fans. Don't criticize a whole fan base because of a few assholes.

Refs sucked tonight, glad we got the win.

It came through loud and clear on the broadcast. But you're probably right. It was probably just one or two guys near the microphone. The people of New York are usually so compassionate.

And I love how you say it as if we intended to hurt him and we barrel over goalies all the time...

That's ligament damage, if i ever saw it.

Yeah, he totally pushed Brassard in, but Brassard looked to me like he fell on purpose once he was there. He could have easily pivoted off the foot that was on the ice and moved away, but he suddenly lifted that foot and down he went.

His "Oh shit, I didn't mean for that to happen" reaction kind of helps me along in that assumption.
