Man, Buffalo has come out hot from the Olympic break. Made a very good deal to set them up for the future, and more pieces to ship out to help them even more. With 10 combined picks in the first 2 rounds of the next two drafts, future will look very bright for them. I wish the Boss man was here to see this, his Sabres would make him proud. But I know he's watching down on them and a key part to their recent success.

And now for something completely random - I just saw a pic on the Mouse's frontpage of the ongoing NCAA men's bb game Cincy at UCONN - I noticed in the background, they still have all the Whalers banners hanging from the rafters at the Mall.

I just want to congratulate the Islanders & specifically Travis Hamonic for a horrible afternoon. Travis had 32 PIMS. While Eric Boulton & Josh Bailey both added their own misconduct penalties in yet another embarrassing loss in Islander land.
