Ottawa has been the better team so far but are being outshot 25-16. Shots on goal are a deceptive indication of play; maybe even useless. The Leafs have been outshot quite a bit this year but have clearly outplayed the other team on a lot of those nights.

Well... constant powerplays for the Leafs kind of help the shot total.

It seems to me like it has been a pretty poor game by both teams. As bad as they've been though the refs have managed to outdo them and steal the spotlight. Well done zebras!!!

Maybe the refs are going to call attempted penalties now?

According to Glenn Healy the refs giving the Sens a PP would be a problem.

I love unbiased coverage from our national broadcaster.

Although it should be noted that Kadri is a repeat offender.

Why did the ref not blow the whistle when a Sens player cleared the puck out of the zone? There was an additional 30 seconds of play that shouldn't have happened. Ridiculous.
