The youngest goalie duo in the NHL, I'm assuming? - And probably the youngest since who the hell knows when. :noidea:

I said at the start of the season that the goalie situation was the thing that concerned me the most. I'm loving how Kuemper has stepped up recently, but this is still just plain scary.

Y! SPORTS

This sums up how the Jackets got here so far rather nicely.

And no, the answer is not diving and having teams play down to their level. Control the puck, spread out the attack and have a goalie to rely on when you mess up.

That is the biggest difference between early season and now, they aren't giving the puck away. Hopefully the two punts in the Sabres game that led to two goals will drive that point home.

Flames played a pretty good game last night against the Sharks and got screwed on the GWG that was offside. There really needs to be some kind of coach's challenge brought into this league, between last night and what happened in the Detroit - LA game on the weekend, with all the technology available these days, there should be a mechanism in place to reverse obvious missed calls.

I hate how they say that technically the call, for example in Detroit, wasn't wrong, because they can't review it, but that's a sorry excuse for a shitty system, or lack there of in the NHL - there's no reason whatsoever to not have this review in place - it's 2014 for christ sakes, they have all the technology in the world, just install it

Corey Crawford, NHL third star of the week:
2-0-1 2.22 GAA .916 sv%

Sergei Bobrovsky
3-0-0, 2.00 GAA .929 sv%

Seems legit.

it's especially easy in the netting case.. just install the stuff they use in tennis that makes a beep when the net is hit.. problem solved.

Just noticed that NHL Center Ice now lists which local broadcast you will get.

Now I can check in on the Sabres without risking hearing that geriatric doofus. And I can COMPLETELY avoid Craig Laughlin.

YAY!

What has gotten into the Leafs these days. They are playing like an actual contender for once.

Frazer, Ranger, Clarkson, and McClaren are out; that's what's gotten into them.

Anaheim's home unbeaten streak finally ends, to the Jets of all teams. I guess Noel was the problem after all...
