Carolina's been making some sketchy picks the last few years - I'm starting to wonder whether Jim Rutherford should be there long term - this team has been going down the drain rather quickly and they're becoming one of the jokes of the league - they've been terrible for the last 4-5 years now

I think Rutherford is safe for a while yet, but the shine of the 2006 Stanley Cup Championship is starting to wane.

/Denying Edmonton that Stanley Cup in '06 still has a special place in my heart for that team

I don't think the sketchy part is the pick of Lindholm but rather the decision to use a year of his ELC at age 18 coming straight from Sweden into the NHL.

Should have let the kid play another year in the SEL, then compete for a spot next year when he's bigger, stronger and more mature.

I didn't trust ESPN, but NHL.com also showed Saad with the goal, so it looked legit to me.
