I don't think there's anybody on the market right now that we know about that I'd want to give a first rounder for. Maybe Ekholm and he'd probably be the closest to a sure thing to make your team better as there is. If you're a contender in all likelihood you have to factor the opportunity cost of having to leave someone good unprotected in the expansion draft into any trade for someone with term. Paying a 1st, a prospect, maybe something else AND a decent roster player claimed by Seattle for a rental, even a 1.5 year rental, is probably going to be too much for most.

He set up Spezza for a nice one timer too. I think that people say "you can't teach that stuff" incorrectly a lot of times where it doesn't apply but I think he's a guy that legitimately has a lot of that. I hope it works.
