I wonder if they’re motivated here. Guy can’t go anywhere for two years and doesn’t seem like he’s gearing up to be a distraction so there’s no need other than maybe they like what they’re seeing?

Dubois had 12 points in the 2 scrimmages the Jackets have held. He is making obscene passes to Bjorkstrand, Texier and Grigorenko and was seen yukking it up with everyone on the team, even taunting Savard a tad when he walked him. In short, if there was no rumo(u)r running around there would be absolutely no reason to believe he was even in the slightest bit unhappy or wanting out. He is just being PLD. Like he doesn't have a care in the world other than kicking ass on the ice.

Jackets might wanna push this off til trade deadline at the earliest. Value only gonna go up. Him and Bjork are looking ridiculous together so far. And Grigorenko looking like he should be with them which allows Texier to move to Center. Offers are only going to get better from here. Unless someone offers like Lafreniere, Mathews or Eichel, just wait it out. I'm even off the Laine train for the moment.

Gary we all know this is true. Curious is this your way of an easy out to lockout the league and “redo” the CBA you just extended?

Loui Eriksson cleared waivers, that's a surprise...

man, I look forward to these

My only fear is that young Matthew is developing a history of concussions. I'd rather see him make an impact on the scoresheet rather than opponents impacting his head.

3. Hopefully, there’s eventual clarity on why Dubois wanted the change of scenery. He bought a place in Columbus last season. There’s something we’re not seeing.

Or, you know, there isn't.
