RIP Bill Torrey
The top 3 playoff scorers on the Jets right now are Waddell pickups.^ I thought I saw Waddell's name on the scroller at the bottom on NHL network.
I couldn't imagine what it was for.
lol

Actually NHLtradetracker gives both Byfuglien and Wheeler trades to Rick Dudley as GM, and he drafted Scheifle as well. I know it's splitting hairs, b/c Waddle was the President at the time.
I should not have gone to NHLTradetracker. I looked at the glorious history of MacLean again.
Edit: Damn, Dudley got Andrew Ladd for Ivan Vishnevsky.
He also traded a 1st and a 2nd for Vesa Toskala, which might've been worse. The Sharks eventually turned those picks into Logan Couture. If it weren't for that ill-advised goalie swap with BOS, it holds up well.
didn't know about that site. Interesting.
So, I went and looked up JFJ's tenure. Not nearly as bad as I would have guessed. One that made me chuckle was trading Nathan Perrott for a draft pick that became Leo Komarov. If it weren't for that ill-advised goalie swap with BOS, it holds up well.
Other than the Snes last year when was the last time there really was a "Cinderella" team in the final 4?Nice to see all the top teams still playing. For once no Cinderella team. And no I don't think Vegas is Cinderella the fans yes... The team no. They have been great since game one of the regular season

Ole Donny boy seems to like to make trades and that Hurricanes team is in win-now mode or else they could be heading to Quebec City - I'm thinking they don't need that 2nd overall pick as much as T.J. Brodie to solidify the defense corps.
I was thinking more like Gardiner and Andersen for Hanifin and the #2.
