Congrats to Alex Ovechkin for joining the 600 Club with a 2-goal game last night.

Only 20 members in that club. The only active players substantially past the 400-mark are Patrick Marleau (529 goals, has played almost a decade longer) and Rick Nash at 437. Ovechkin becomes the 4th fastest to the mark with only Gretzky, Lemieux, and Brett Hull doing it faster. The two-goal night also gave him sole possession of the league lead in goals - if he finishes the season that way, he'd be the oldest player since Phil Esposito in '75 to lead the league.

Congrats to Alex Ovechkin! It's been an absolute pleasure watching most of those 600 goals.

-Kuznetsov after the game - "Holy f*#$ that's a lot of goals."
-Dustin Byfuglien failed to take/clear the puck three times as OV put the shot in on the second rebound. He finally found the handle as a Capital went to retrieve the puck for history and he purposely shot it down the ice away from the player like a dick.
-Byfuglien is fat.
