I think the most damning thing for Pierre is that upon clicking play I had no idea 1) who she was (sorry, just not at all into the women’s game) or 2) why she was there and yet in the 15 seconds she spends speaking about the game after he makes a fool of himself she sounded more intelligent about what was about to happen than at any point I’ve heard Pierre do colour in the past 10+ years that I’ve known he’s existed.

She deserves his job. He deserves to be appointed GM of the Oilers.

I honestly think that they should at least suspend him. I suspect that nothing will happen though.

Eddie O wasn't much better than Pierre last night with his leading questions (seemed a little condescending to me). I watch quite a few Flames games on Sportsnet and Rick Ball is often paired with Cassie Campbell-Pascall on the broadcast team and they do a nice job, Rick Ball is great on the play-by-play and Cassie also provides a good breakdown and insight into the game as the colo(u)r analyst without any leading or pandering questions from Rick.

I am sick so I was kind of in and out on the broadcast but I did catch Eddie looking bad as well. Like you implied, it's really not that fucking hard to do an acceptable (is "good" even asking for too much?) job, it's not like they put a wild badger in the booth with you or something.

Bjugstad got dealt ??? Damn!!!

He hasn't been very good this year, but has a ton of talent. Definite upgrade for Pitt from Brasshole.

FLA has 12m in space and this clears another 6. Sheahan and Brasshole are UFA at the end of the year.
