If this means a return to the Olympics in 2022, I'm okay with it.

more likely means there is not enough certainty that we won't be locked out,
so they scrap it now so it won't be used as a hostage.

If you think I'm posting this because the Flames are close to the top, you're absolutely right :D

I don't know what this is, but it has the Jackets ranked higher than both the Pens and Caps, so I'll allow it.

I watched the video and I can see the league's point, but as I said above, it seems excessive for a guy with no prior history.

As usual, the problem is not that this one is punished, it's the ones that are worse that get let go.

And calling that "charging" just makes no sense to me. Check to the head, okay. But that was not a charge. You want to see a charge watch the Wilson hit on Wennberg in round one last year.

They are simply trying to clear room for Dubinsky.

Like Nash, Dubi will retire a Blue Jacket. Acceptance is Step 1 :D

So he'll underperform for two other teams and eventually return to sign a one day deal as he retires?

SWEET

If I had to guess, I'd say Murray is going to try to move one of his good young D men for help up front. Del Zotto will just be there to fill their vacated roster spot.

Schenn is all kinds of bad though. Not sure why the Nucks would want that.

Makes sense because they are thinking they could still be a playoff team and using Schenn as that filler would be awful.

The Bolts are 19-2-1 in their last 22 games - That's pretty pretty pretty good.

Ducks get scoring, a good D prospect, a 1st rounder and a reclamation project. Leafs get out from under Zaitsev's contract and an RD. Randy returns to Toronto for Cup final in June.

Okay, somebody please check on BBB, he's obviously not feeling well.

Montour for Kapanen, Liljegren, Zaitsev and a 1st.

If I'm Murray I probably take that and run. I like Montour but the that's a pretty penny to pay just to get rid of Zaitsev ($4.5M is not that burdensome these days).

Also looking at the Leafs roster...holy hell they're doing well for a team that has a RD corps that could rival Ottawa's in terms of shittiness.
