Plenty of effort from the Habs tonight, comeds, but a lot of it is around the perimeter where it's tough to score. Not enough guys going to the tough, dirty areas.

I didn't think so. With the exception of a brief time in the 2nd I didn't think they had much jump in their game. To me they certainly didn't look like a team that's supposedly speedy.

I went to the game tonight and the crowd was there early and raucous. It was a great atmosphere.

Was the "dive" by Subban confirmed by replay? It looked like Backstrom checked him in the shoulder and he grabbed his face. The fans gave him hell the rest of the game after that.

2nd and 3rd lines were outstanding tonight, as was Matt Niskanen. He shut down so many Habs' opportunities. It's so fun watching this team right now.
