It's unorthodox, but I like the Isles team rule that an RFA must be signed before training camp or they sit the season. They have zero leverage to be doing garbage like this.....

I've got no problem with it. This isn't a case of a guy holding out or demanding a trade. He's not under contract, so he has no obligation to do anything until a contract is signed.

The CBA gives RFAs certain rights and it gives teams certain rights. Why should the players not exercise their rights just the same as teams do?

Pretty much. They suck even with him on the ice, so he has that leverage.

Carey Price has the flu and Patrice Bergeron has a lower body injury - Both will not play in their team's home openers.
