I love MAF, and I'd put him ahead of Bernier, but not substantially. Really don't see it happening. That said I'd welcome back our first rounder (which would never happen in a trade).

Ducks signed Vatanen for four more years. No money out there yet...still really wonder about them moving a guy like Lindholm since they have so many bodies to sign.

Update: $4.875M per on Vatanen deal. Leaves Ducks with $14M for about 7 forwards, backup G, and resigning Lindholm.

Only way Leafs move for Lindholm is if they move Gardiner first (something tells me neither Gardiner nor Anaheim would be too keen on each other). Too many left shots to accommodate everybody.

I'd love to see Lindholm on the Leafs though. I just think they know they need to spend salary cap space on a top right handed D at some point and adding Hampus' eventual contract will make that very difficult to do.

I'd take Bieksa's deal on the Leafs if it meant getting Gibson. Wouldn't do it for Anderson, though, and I wouldn't give up much in any such deal. Second rounder at most.

That's quite the belligerent post on a Monday morning (it's still Monday morning here on the West Coast). Also, the only time Bieksa is truculent is when he can pick his spot or jump a guy, otherwise he's ducking for cover.
