back in the day when my brother was full time in the cesspool (when money didnt matter to him - ) he would tell me about the degenerates (thats inveterates for you bgdave) who would call the station and just flat out ask "who do you like in the spurs suns game?" or "you takin the Argos over the Eskies Sunday?" ... not a hello ... not a good bye ... just a gambling opinion i guess ... and then a hangup

he showed me a twitter dm he got from strombone monday night at 11:45pm pacific "who you got tomorrow Bayern or Atletico ?" lol

It could be a dud ratings wise, but from an entertainment perspective, I hope it continues as that first round was quite enjoyable to watch. Also, I think it's great seeing some fresh blood advance in the playoffs.

My boss spent 4 years in MTL, so I like to drop a French word or phrase on him from time to time. Really annoys him, and amuses the he_l out of me. I once put vis-a-vis in an email, and he called me up asking me what the heck I was talking about.

My favo(r)rite though was a lawyer I worked for years ago at a large automobile company. She was the head of our department, and was thoroughly confused when I tried to walk her through a Quebec Corporate tax return. She was frustratingly dense, and in exasperation, I eventually said to her "thats OK, its confusing because we have to use French numbers". She nodded her head and we finished up the review.
