Dater and Roy make it hard. And Varly. And McLeod. Then again Iggy. But in terms of fans...I dunno, never really had issues with their fans? I know like...one?
One is enough.

I mean...I liked Sakic and Forsberg. Does that still matter?Dater and Roy make it hard. And Varly. And McLeod. Then again Iggy. But in terms of fans...I dunno, never really had issues with their fans? I know like...one?

Oh and Hejduk. Always liked him too.

IOC not paying travel and insurance for NHL for next Olympics.
Nhl or iihf need to pony up their own cash (or nhlpa?) if they want nhl players to go.
Let the dance begin.
i think its still important to the players to go.Should be a quick dance. Good to know we won't have a dumb mid-season break where the best players in the game go half way across the world to showcase the game in front of 2000 apathetic Koreans.
I don't see the importance. I'd much rather the World Cup take off and lose the gimmicky bullshit in the future.i think its still important to the players to go.
the story i read was the cost they were talking about was $20m.
split between everyone isn't much. but as we know, these parties don't like to split the check.
until world cup takes off (that's more of a gimmick, imho), Olympics is the only opportunity for the country's best-on-best to face off.I don't see the importance. I'd much rather the World Cup take off and lose the gimmicky bullshit in the future.
If the WC is even remotely successful this September, the NHL can turn it into a reason to skip the Olympics and commit 100% to their own tourney. I'm more than fine with that.until world cup takes off (that's more of a gimmick, imho), Olympics is the only opportunity for the country's best-on-best to face off.
I frikkin' love watching Olympic hockey.
Teams from LA and NY are out and Chicago is on the brink.
Gary Bettman's head is exploding somewhere.
