lol - Maybe Potvin will call Tavares a low-life during this series.

I'm happy for the guy that he found a gig in the booth but I'm happier it's not with the Isles. He's tougher to listen to than Butch Goring....both are horrible.

My unofficial count has 'experts' picking the Panthers 99.9% of the time. I didn't realize there was such a disparity between a 103 and 100 point team. Isles home record was pretty solid this season, but yeah "Panthers in 5" sounds about right.....

Panthers are a bit inflated because of that huge 12 game streak they went on. Bill Torrey and Potvin can eat shit until the series is over. Then I'll go back to liking them.
I had Pans in 7. Don't think there's a large gap between them but I can't think of one area on the ice where the Isles are better than what Florida has. Net might be a difference maker as either team's starter could easily shit the bed horrifically.

Panthers just need to avoid this Boston related homo(u)r...

Q. What time is it in Boston?
A. It's 12 past Luongo.

Coaching might be a difference maker too. In that case, the Isles are done.

Opera Claude will be at the B's end of season presser.

I'd say that's an indicator that he'll be back, but wasn't Chiarelli at last season's presser?

I think you posted it yesterday and it makes sense, I think there are teams waiting to see who might become available if let's say an Anaheim or St. Louis bows out in the first round. Until then, the coach you have may still be better than available coaches on the market.

I'm kind of hoping the Rags get curb-stomped (always a nice thing) so that AV gets shitcanned and comes back to coach the Sens.

Mostly because while Greiss is having a helluva season, he's not been tested in the playoffs much. I wouldn't say Luongo is necessarily better than Greiss, but his stats in the playoffs are decent.

No, you want a different former Rangers coach. We'll take that one.

.918 sv% on the season. Decent, but Reimer has a .938 sv% since being traded there with 3 shutouts. The Sharks won 6 of the 8 games he started while they won 8 of the 14 Jones started. Seems like a no-brainer.

Yeah... I only really know Jones because I have him in my hockey pool and he killed it as a late round pick.

Honestly, the only reason I know anything about any players out west is because of hockey pools. (Ironically I also had Reimer briefly.)

The scary thing is when Bro Jake starts making more sense than Dave Pratt.
