I'm curious how sites like hockeyfights.com are permitted to post NHL material on their site. Maybe they have expressed written consent from the NHL, but I doubt it.

If I remember correctly, the NHL has a partnership with YouTube, so maybe that extends somehow, as long as the content is appearing on YouTube?

.918 sv% on the season. Decent, but Reimer has a .938 sv% since being traded there with 3 shutouts. The Sharks won 6 of the 8 games he started while they won 8 of the 14 Jones started. Seems like a no-brainer.

This is the playoffs. You go with who's hot and it's Reimer right now. Petr Mrazek technically had a better season than Jimmy Howard but Wings fans would lose their collective shit if Mrazek started gm 1.

I think Jones will be on a very short leash, if he doesn't play well in game 1, expect to see Reimer in game 2.. Also, sing it Shania.

To some degree, Jones kind of ran out of legs trying to adjust to the starter's role. He just wasn't used to it, and started to slide. He, too started like gangbusters. Now rested, and fired up to face his former team, I think he should be fine. And as mentioned, if he doesn't, Reimer is there. If I'm the coach, I go with Jones too.

Both goalie's out of the gate success is down to some really solid D coverage and game control. That's the question. Can the Sharks do that in the playoffs?

I think people are sleeping on him because nobody has any faith in the Isles' defence, especially sans Hamonic. He literally will have to stand on his head.

I will be happy to see any of the three behind the Senators bench, but if making it one of those two will improve American viewing experience I am all for it.

Also, Doug Maclean wouldn't be such a bad pick.

Hamonic is in Game 1. He's been practicing all week preparing to play.

Latest is he's trying to. Certainly seems like he's going to play through it but he won't be 100%.
