Oh I know, I just figured the other comments were more geared toward the "kids and their words" crowd.I was more referring to how expensive things are today compared to 20 years ago combined with the fact that I think the competition for getting into university and landing that desired job is much more intense that it used to be. Just my opinion.
Education is somewhat over rated. It helps to have some but in today's world it's who you know not what you know. Oh I know, I just figured the other comments were more geared toward the "kids and their words" crowd.
But I think it'll be fine in the future. I really do think universal post-secondary education is going to become widespread and we'll continue to build the infrastructure to teach. Job market is an issue though - we already don't have much of one to begin with in Canada.
