I just found out from a commercial that Chris Neil is a member of the prestigious "2,400 Club".

Anyone have any guesses as to what that is? I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I found out.

Winning the first of 3 against Philly was important for the playoff push. Pens are suddenly 3rd in their division. Islanders can easily take that back, but it gives them some breathing room over DET and PHI.

Scoring race, Crosby now in sole position of 3rd, and has an outside shot of catching Benn. Barring a miracle he can't catch Kane, who will also beat him in ppg - the first time Crosby wont lead the league in that category since 2009/2010. That year OV had a crazy 1.5ppg. Ironically it's also the only year Crosby outscored him.

Excited for Pens / Caps this afternoon. Pens have played very well in Malkin's absence, and have just recently taken down division foes Philly, NYI and NYR. The East is basically the Caps + 7 pretty equal teams, so this should be a good test, especially coming off a back to back. Surprised they didn't start Murray though - I was hoping he would play in more of these scenarios, just to get the experience in case we need him this spring.
