Didn't even draft a single Swede in the top 3 rounds (and I only counted Granberg and Tom Nilsson inside of the top 5 rounds) between Alex Steen and Snizzbone. They weren't even trying.

What a game. Pressure was on from the wife to put on a movie at 2-0, but I'm glad I resisted - didn't want to miss Crosby's 900th point, especially since thy were playing FLA knowing he had a chance to beat Jagr for 10th fastest to that milestone. Didn't expect him to just outright win it! (With a little help from Letang, who I think could challenge EK with a full healthy season under Sullivan).

Letang has never had the consistency that Karlsson has shown the past few years, but you're right in noting the change under Sullivan has been drastic for him. Much more comfortable, not forcing stuff. Beautiful to watch. Karlsson is on pace for 91 points I believe, not sure that's something Letang could do. But hey, if he can consistently this streak he's on then he's Bobby freaking Orr.

98 points got you in the playoffs last season. For the Habs to reach 98 points all they need to do is win 23 out of their last 29 games.

He's gotta be careful taking those Torts courses on coaching and whining in the media.

He has a point about no discipline coming from the league...but dude, your team nearly decapitated Crosby in the playoffs *many* times and nothing happened, so you may want to check your parallels. The NHL protects *no one*.

It deserved a game misconduct, but McDonagh deserved a penalty for the cross check to the head too. So ironic that the only time the league HAS protected Sid was when a player did to him what McDonagh did to Simmonds. I'd actually be very okay with a suspension if it meant the league was taking player safety seriously at all.
