There is a disturbing trend among young Blue Jacket Stars.

The superintendent of danglenuts, if you will.

There's a weird trend of that just in general with young men...and it can stop any time now. Skinny jeans too. Those can stop. The hipster look has permeated everything. The whole scrawny dude wearing a V-neck to show off their nasty chest hairs, fake glasses with a thick black rim, skinny jeans, and TOMS. In the summer, same exact look expect cut off jean shorts that I wouldn't even wear.

They had no affiliation last season: Prior to that, they had been on the Anaheim developmental ladder.

This string of D signings tells me the Sabres are hoping to give the young studs (Zadorov and Ristolainen) another year either in the A or juniors.

Which I'm OK with, because those two are going to be big-time studs for a long time in this league.

The Chicago team sort of cheated to get those guys, hah. Well, the good ones.

I guess they're basing it on nearest NHL team geographically?

But still, for the Sabres to have two D from Ontario You would think they'd still at least account for international borders.

Some of those seem a little questionable, for instance Madison is what, almost 3 hours from Chicago? Hell Kingston is probably about the same distance from Toronto but had to be counted as "Ottawa" (not that we really wanted Jay McClement, but Mike Smith might have helped)

The odd thing is that in some cases they do care about those invisible lines. Bobby Ryan is listed on New Jersey even though Cherry Hill is about 10 miles from Philly.
