Even if he played to 100% of his potential, he was never going to get into the NHL for the Jackets. Too many like him in the system.

Maybe he'll get his shot in the Sabres organization. He looked decent at camp.

I don't know anything about Luke Adam, but the last guy we picked up from Buffalo has turned out pretty good (Tropp).

I never expected him to amount to anything. In terms of late-round Leaf draft picks, I have way more faith in Connor Brown than anybody else. He's starting to creep towards point-per-game status in the AHL and he's scoring more, which is also nice.

Any place online to watch games for free? I just wish I could catch the Jackets games without having to pay for DirectTV center ice

There are places where you stream games for free, but they are usually a haven for viruses and malware.

Yeah that seems to be the problem. I click a link to stream a game but the amount of pop-ups and such not to mention you have to download a "video player"

Step 1: AdBlock, it helps to weed out what's real and what's not. Generally speaking you can safely stream, but you have to be smart about what you click. I streamed for about 5 years and didn't have any big issues. I used First Row Sports, myself. But there are plenty of other sites that have streams available. Sometimes it's still hard to find certain games. Not sure about the Jackets and if there are people out there putting the games up.

The Oilers got a point last night in their post Eakin game so that's something good I guess.

You can almost hear Bryz in the post game locker room interview.

"Puck just vanished. Aliens or bears. Puck went poof. Why is the fat man heff to laugh?"

Nashville Predators forward James Neal became the first player to be issued a $2,000 fine for diving.

Under NHL Rule 64 (Diving/Embellishment), Neal was fined for a dive, his second of the season, in a 2-0 loss to the San Jose Sharks on December 13. He was given a two-minute minor for embellishment on the play.

Neal, 27, was previously issued a warning following a dive in a November 13 loss to the St. Louis Blues. He was not penalized for the dive.

If Neal were to offend for a third time, a $3,000 fine would be forthcoming from the league.

Starting with Neal, the NHL plans to publicly release the name of any player who is cited for two dives or more.

Well, it was pretty... um... spectacular.

Is it wrong that I would love to see Brad Marchand in a Canucks uniform?

Dreger is as the kids say "doing work" (for Nonis?) this morning ... created a rumour out of no substantiated fact for Cousin Dave :L

Dreger "It would make sense that MacT would hook up with Nonis RE Reimer. I don't know that that's happened but the asking price & return would have to be substantial for the Leafs considering how well Reimer's played & complements Bernier"

lmao ... fuck this guy :L

not a good fit considering big dumb looch said he will "never step foot in downtown vancouver ever again"

He also said he'd kill Weise next time they played.

Lucic's declarations cannot be believed. He's coming back.
