Oh.
Jarkko Ruutu calls it a career.
Never forget...never:
My favorite part is how he has to sheepishly pick up his gloves at the end.

My only regret is that we never got to see a line combination of Ruutu - Tootoo - Cheechoo
Tuomo?
What ever happened to Cheechoo? Did he retire, or can he just not crack an NHL lineup anymore?
At least his demise was gradual. He had a couple years when he was useful after the Richard, then he got slowly bad.
He had one good year after Richard - the year after - and then became a 30 point or less player. Still mind-boggling.
He's in Croatia playing for the KHL team there.
Or that him and Michalek got Dany Heatley.
We'll see how long it last but could Russia's terrible economy be good for the NHL?

You have to assume more teams will fold and at least some of these guys have to be NHL caliber right?
BOLD!
Ah Jerry D'amigo. I had such high hopes for thee.
BOLD!
Even if he played to 100% of his potential, he was never going to get into the NHL for the Jackets. Too many like him in the system.
Maybe he'll get his shot in the Sabres organization. He looked decent at camp.
I don't know anything about Luke Adam, but the last guy we picked up from Buffalo has turned out pretty good (Tropp).
