/because … damn … 13 is the hormone age … i almost want to buy a small trailer to transport my kids gear around
That’s why I drove a truck with a tonneau cover during my boy’s playing days (or at least until he got his license and own car). No way that bag was gonna be in the same compartment as me.

So I'm reading on Twitter that Ryan Whitney is stuck at Pearson International Airport. I can only assume that thousands of other people are suffering the same fate. The one big difference is that he's continually whining about it. Hey Ryan, you're not that special lol

By the way, it's not just an issue at Pearson...

He totally seems like the kind of guy who would constantly honk in a traffic jam like he's the only one being inconvenienced by it all.

my wife and kid came back through YYZ last night about an hour before his post.
said it was a breeze, and had a bonus couple of hours to wait at the gate as they were expecting worse. They were domestic, which might have been a difference.

but yeah, we all know airports can be a bitch these days - plan accordingly

on my wait to Maui last month there was some dude complaining loudly and constantly about how he was going to miss his plane, alternatively trying to be best friends and/or verbally threaten any airport employee to try to jump the line.
it was about a 45 minute line, from screening to customs. no big whoop. plan accordingly.

Schiphol even took the unusual step of stopping new flight bookings for several days to try to lower some of the crowding issues, for the second time in as many months.

Really looking forward to traveling there on Sunday

(I actually really am. First international trip in almost three years because of Covid.)

Guy I work with went through Schiphol in April to go to Portugal for Easter, said it was a breeze but he has EU citizenship so could be different otherwise.

I booked Portugal in late July and the connection is through Montreal so I’m a bit terrified that I won’t make the connection back to Vancouver because of customs (that’s apparently where most of the headaches have been here lately).

None of their lack of success recently falls on him but it still makes sense for both sides. He won't struggle to find work and the Bruins can get Mike Babcock to come in and knock the Leafs out in the first round for the next two seasons because why not.

That team is gonna be crazy to watch this offseason. No cap space, no idea what's going on with Berge, no McAvoy or Marchand for months to start the season, no prospects worth speaking of...

But they have their 2023 first round pick and Taylor Hall and there's a great draft next season...

Taylor Hall for Darnell Nurse - The trade is 1-for-1

/lol - Nobody wants Nurse at 9.25 mill for the next 8 seasons. Enjoy him Edmonton

With all of the crap that's happening in the world, Whitney continues to whine...

Meh. Honestly if it leads to improvements he should keep whining. It's definitely putting the problem in the news and putting pressure on the feds to work it out.

Yeah, that's a good point, but why do I think it's more about promoting Spittin' Chicklets :noidea: At any rate, I'll stop whining about Whitney whining lol
