Kind of expect someone to throw one at Laine, but that will just make Jarmo's job easier.
Was going to say I see Laine and Roslovic getting offers.

Saving grace for the Jackets at least they have the cap space to match the offers.

Let the Kevin Fiala sweepstakes begin.
Like i said before … fiala seems obvious … gms always fear offer sheet retribution from the gm of the team they screw … well with those suter and parise cap hits, the wild wont be in a financial position to get revenge for 3 seasons lol

Depends on salary. The first-second-third round pick category? Yeah, probably match. The two first round picks category? That’s a lot harder to say no to for Laine.

Very true. Honestly when looking at the chart I wasn't even thinking the 8.4-10 million range for Laine. And yeah if he gets that offer you let him go and take the picks.

Problem with Laine is he might be worth that much one season and he might be a lost cause the next. He’s still only 24 but he’s been around for 6 seasons now and I still have no idea what to make of him.

Also think a lot rests on what CBJ do. They’re paying quite a few guys in quite a few key positions the kind of money you spend when it’s time to contend. They have promising young players and picks. If they want to keep Laine it should probably be accompanied by a push to actually get better now otherwise you might as well just keep building through picks & prospects and cash in on him.

Stars going to go on the cheap without a head coach - they figure they can just rely on Otter baling them out.

I have to ask, what about Pat Falloon?

If we are going with OG Sharks here are my recommendations in order:

1. Link Gaetz
2. Perry Berezan
3. Paul Fenton
4. Dave Snuggerud
and
5. Jarmo Myllys
