I think it was Pierre LeBrun that was tweeting that Dallas is very interested in Tanev - I think he would be a good fit with the Stars and if he's not going to be on the Flames, I certainly want him out of the division because he's a heck of a defender.

Yep… he ain’t tall. Went to a preseason game in Cedar Park and watched him. He stood out by being a short dude. He also stood out because he never stopped working and finding open space around the crease. Had a goal & 2 assists and was relentless. Told my BIL who lives close to the arena to go see him while he could because once he came up here he wouldn’t be back. His line mate Mavrik Bourque will be here soon as well.
