I've been wearing my Nordiques hat throughout this cruise, have been getting some positive feedback from surprising locations.

Puerto Rican dude basically ran up to me for a high five today in San Juan.
How did you like San Juan? I was there 3 days about 10 years ago and was surprised how much I liked it.

Also, could you pick up a package for me while you're there?

First of all, no.

Secondly, yeah seems like a pretty neat city.
Too many joggers, old city cramped as hell, but a good vibe.

My previous job had a work retreat there otherwise it might never have been on my radar. Spent two days in San Juan wandering around. Old city, forts, beaches. Nice place, nice people, good food. Also really good looking people.

We did a trip to a rain forest one day that was kind of cool but not worth the two hour each way bus trip. That would have been a great time to ditch the coworkers and stay at the beach bar.

Total shit show.

Is Granato on the hot seat? I believe he should be.

Yeah, I believe his seat is getting very warm.
Sabres have no high end scoring beyond Tage (who's underperforming his recent norms, missed a handful of games and is now out for personal reasons...) and their goaltending is shit even by this year's lower goaltending standards.

I think they'll eventually blame the coach too but Adams hasn't done much beyond the Eichel trade to improve this roster from the outside. They can't just keep waiting for all the picks to develop.

Looks like Detroit wants Hutchinson to disappear as they are INXS of goalies.

With Tage out (might be related to wife being pregnant), Jost was moved up first line center last night. I thought that was a strange move, but in hindsight maybe was it a tryout.

Apparently it wasn't good enough.

That sucks. RIP Reg. Loved watching him with the Skipjacks. Met him once at a pickup game, super nice guy. Insane shot.

Can't imagine what he had to go through as a black guy named "Savage". I heard Skipjacks fans chirping him.

How do empty net goals work against goalies average?
They don't.

Save percentage is calculated based on shots against that would have gone in if the goalie did not stop it. Shots on an empty net do not count against the goalie.

Goals against average is calculated on how many goals a goalie gives up per 60 minutes of ice time. So, if the goalie is not on the ice when an empty netter is scored, it does not get calculated in the save percentage.
