Wasn't it Vincent Lecavalier who did not know how to make toast? If it was not him, it was another young player from around the same time. One of the NHL shows had a segment with him living with a host family and being pretty helpless.

This was a language barrier, but when Ville Siren played for the Penguins he ordered eggs at a team breakfast and was asked what kind (as in how would he like them, scrambled etc. ) he responded chicken.

I remember that too, still think I remember a segment on Vincent where his host family was saying how he could do virtually nothing (besides hockey) on his own. I still think toast was one of them.

Ottawa seemed to be dominating this game in Stockholm 4-0.

I looked up while working, and now I see it’s 4–3 with a few minutes left in the second period

Just leave DJ Smith in Sweden. Sees a game slipping away and does nothing except literally chew ice cubes.

He seems like a nice guy but he's not a good NHL coach.
