My preference would be to put the incentive on winning in regulation with 3 point games

But if they are going to have this version of OT, make it better. They had a super fun run and gun 3 on 3 OT and the teams, not the league, figured out a way to make it boring. I don’t mind them trying to fix this and make it more entertaining

I was thinking more along the lines of them being motivated to end a game before getting showered, getting on a plane and traveling halfway across the country.

This was a language barrier, but when Ville Siren played for the Penguins he ordered eggs at a team breakfast and was asked what kind (as in how would he like them, scrambled etc. ) he responded chicken.
