Would once you cross offensive blue line you cannot take puck out work?

Just go back to ties and give the bonus point to winning games in regulation like most soccer leagues. 3 points for a regulation win, 1 point each for a tie, zero points for a loss. You should be rewarded for winning games the "right" way, not through a gimmick that you don't see once the playoffs start.

@puckhead posted the video last night, in case you missed it, Leon is a little lighter in the wallet...

That's gotta be the bitchiest play this side of Portland, Oregon. Or Portland, Maine for that matter.

Seriously though, this level of cuntery is close to being Marchand-esque.

Marchand would punch him in the back of the head while he’s down - by those standards the pissy one is quite a saint in this instance.

My preference would be to put the incentive on winning in regulation with 3 point games

But if they are going to have this version of OT, make it better. They had a super fun run and gun 3 on 3 OT and the teams, not the league, figured out a way to make it boring. I don’t mind them trying to fix this and make it more entertaining

Just make them play til someone wins. They won't fuck around as much, then.
don't think that will make a difference.
it has gone from a "chances to score" strategy to "retain possession".
more time won't change that, unless the players just get bored as well.

I was thinking more along the lines of them being motivated to end a game before getting showered, getting on a plane and traveling halfway across the country.

Got a feeling I’ll be thanking the Preds a lot this season.

You will be happy as long as he stays interested. Talented player but went AWOL too many times for long stretches here in Smashville. Maybe DAL will be better for him.
He & Seguin are meshing nicely. They even make Marchment look good. That alone is a pretty damn lofty achievement.

I'm hearing Duchene is helping Tyler with his laundry as Seguin still hasn't figured out how to operate a washing machine :D

I’m gonna presume with his recent nuptuals that isn’t an issue anymore...

He was an absolute monster for us in the TB sweep. Really made us hope he wanted to stay.

Wasn't it Vincent Lecavalier who did not know how to make toast? If it was not him, it was another young player from around the same time. One of the NHL shows had a segment with him living with a host family and being pretty helpless.
