McDavid said he thinks it's stupid and I was thinking he is exactly the guy who should do it and challenge the NHL to punish him. It's rare for him to show anything even remotely controversial. For him to openly disagree with the league is big.

A coordinated effort would be even better.

I don't know what's going on with McDavid, he's showing much more personality of late and doesn't seem afraid to speak his mind. I might even start liking him if he keeps it up.
